Gear attached to the motor – part of Sony X-3356-638-1 Motor (Reel R) Assembly. Gear is also compatible with Sony X-3371-429-1 that is actualy a substitute part.

ALPS ASD1017 Motorised Input Selector Gears

Motorised input rotary selectors ALPS ASD1017 / Yamaha VT148400 were used in several Pioneer, Onkyo, Yamaha vinatage amplifiers. There were plastic gears that cracked during the time..

Sony DAT Loading Gear Set (Carbon)

Sony X-3363-501-1 Gear

The gear is part of X-3363-501-1 motor assembly. It is attached to reel motor shaft. The gear can tend to crack during the time and tape drive can become more noisy or does not work correctly.
