The idler gear RXL0106 is part of REM0043 & RDG0206 assembly that is driving tape transport and cassette doors. Because it was made from semi-flexible material it might tend to crack during the time.
3D printed replacement part (gear only) was tested for correct operation.

Seamless capstan belt 3D printed from a rubber-like flexible material. Size up to 180mm (diameter). Customizable width and thickness (0.3 – 0.6 mm). I use it as a replacement in my Sony deck without any issue for more than a year.
3D printed Technics logo made from black opaque material, letters are gold painted.
It is not 100% the same quality as the original but it looks quite similar.
This one was designed according to RS-TR373 tape deck but it might fit to other models too – dimensions at the picture.
If you like reel-to-reel compact cassette look and you don’t want to spend a fortune then you can create one – using 3D printed reels.
Just download attached zip file containing STL model files. Print it with the highest precision (0.1mm layer height, 0.3mm nozzle diameter, 100% infill). I use PLA filament.
